It was supposed to be a dark and nasty day on Friday. Shawn wasn't sure if the students would even be able to have their Homecoming Parade. Apparently the weather got the message and it was an absolutely amazing day on Friday. The sun was so bright and the temperature was just right for a fall day.
The parade was a unique small town experience I think. Even going to school in Granite Falls, which was small, never yielded a parade down the middle of the main street with firetrucks, floats and onlookers spilling out of local businesses. It was a next experience.
The Band
The Freshmen
The Sophomores
The Juniors
Senior Class 2008
And the great staff. Of course Shawn had to sit on the other side.

Oh my gosh! I knew the school was small, but that's REALLY small!
Okay it does look incredibly small from the kids and staff who actually rode the floats, but think of all the kids who thought they were too cool and skipped out on the parade :0)
So what's the cool to not cool ratio? I guess that's not very nice! How many kids are we missin'?
Your right, not very nice, but really funny. There are like 325 kids in the high school, so could be worse.
